i got that link from billy. i really like the post. it reminds me of shawshank's theme: get busy living or get busy dying.

i was talking to a coworker friend of mine yesterday who told me that he hated mondays. dreaded them. truth be told, i think most people do. i said it before. people live for the weekends and scurry through the week hoping time passes by so quickly and then the weekend comes and goes faster than anyone ever wishes.

that's no way to live at all. and i'm just as guilty as everyone else.

each day should have some sort of joy in it. i mean, i don't really look forward to work, but i do look forward to the interactions i have with people there. i don't know. i'm trying to sound optimistic and see things a bit differently. we'll see how long that lasts.

i said this the other day and fully mean it. i'm funny. and i know it. and i'm my biggest fan. anyone who's pretty funny will be their biggest fan. the reason: if i didn't laugh so hard at my own jokes, then i'd stop saying them. i'm not doing it for a living. and it obviously doesn't help me be cool or pick up skirts. or does it?

and who wants a skirt anyway when one can have a dress?
