the star of mazzy shines so bright. don't think i'll be going to sleep tonite.
hope sandoval's voice is hauntingly beautiful. i don't know what else is in that category. maybe that phrase "cellar door"?
i was trying to figure out one nite if that was really a famous phrase quoted in d darko or if it was made up for the movie, to help perpetuate the plot. i didn't really look too terribly long, and in the end, i came to no conclusion.
what else is there?
the bare bones of a dying tree in a golden field of sun-aged grass?
the sound of flame consuming a photograph?
wrinkled fingers wrapped around the neck of a guitar?
the moon's mirror image in the ocean?
the color of deep, melancholy-blue fading into the tension of bruised-blue-black?
made up memories of how someone you loved and his/her last moments?
