my back hurts like the great depression

i think there's a such thing as the law of averages which basically says
you're typically an avg of the people below you you can get easily but don't want
and between the ones above you that you want but can't get

eventually you either get lucky or settle

or maybe go for someone avg like you. but i hate me. who wants to be with someone just like?
