who remembers the song "nightmare on my street" by the fresh prince and dj jazzy jeff? hmmmm, bueller? anybody?

i have to admit that i remember simply because that song was played up north so many times that even in my zoned out state i still recall. favorite thing is the instrumental version that still has the monster's part.

also songs like that and "parent's just don't understand" remind me of why will smith is a flamer. both songs remind me of skate world when i was like 7. you do the hokie pokie.

i'm feeling uncertain these days. mayer and i drove back last nite from upnorth to chicago (well i drove as he sat) and we listened to some jackson browne, acoustic. i forgot he originally wrote the song "these days" that nico later made more famous. it's in an excellent slow-mo scene in the royal tenebaums.
my favorite line might be "i had a lover. i won't risk losing another these days."

or maybe "please don't remind me of my failures. i have not forgotten them."

someone called and left me a message at approximately 1:34 (ET) on new years. i believe it was a 734 number. but i don't know who would have left that message or anything. curious. probably just a random who wanted to fist fuck my nuts off.

if you make me happy then i don't care about the other things. that's the end deal. same perspective should be taken on your end.
